Job Description
Our national AmLaw100 client has an opening in multiple offices (Boston, MA; New York, NY; Princeton, NJ; Washington, D.C.) for an Intellectual Property Associate, and we are actively interviewing attorneys for consideration.

We are looking for the following characteristics :

Strong research and writing skills.
Strong academic record (will be asking for transcripts).
USPTO registration and patent prosecution experience is ideal, but it isn’t a requirement.
Experience in biochemistry and chemistry, pharmaceuticals, batteries, fuel cells, chemical devices, chemical engineering, materials science, and biotechnology is also preferred.
Required Qualifications Include:

Ability to work effectively as part of a dynamic team.
Juris Doctorate (JD) required.
PhD in Organic Chemistry also required.
Must be licensed to practice law in the state they will be working in.
The target candidate will be an early career (1-4 years legal experience), with experience in intellectual property. This firm does provide a path to partnership and assigns a mentor to new associates on day one.
